Karate Referee Alert System

Introducing our Karate Referee Alert System, a thoughtful innovation meticulously designed to enrich the Tatami experience for competitors, coaches, referees, Kansa, and all match officials. It's engineered to enhance confidence through improved timekeeping and seamless communications, precisely when they're needed.

In the intensity of a Kumite match, every moment carries immense importance.

The system is tailored to foster unwavering focus on the athletes and actions, ensuring crucial moments aren't missed or overlooked by Referees, Kansa, or Timekeepers.

Through discreet, effortless, and direct effective alert communication to the referee, it enables undivided attention to their core responsibilities, eliminating disruptions or confusion.

How it works

Alert - ATO-SHIBARAKU

»    When the match time reaches ATO-SHIBARAKU, the timekeeper presses button 1, triggering an audible/vibration alert to the referee to immediately announce ‘ATO-SHIBARAKU’ to the athletes.

Time Up – Yame

»    When the match time concludes, the Timekeeper presses button 2, initiating an audible/vibration alert to the referee, prompting them to stop the match.

Stop Match

»    As required the Kansa or Scorekeeper has the autonomy to activate the button on the handheld pendant, initiating an audible/vibrate alert that promptly notifies the referee to halt the match.

Its design and configuration make it highly effective in locations with multiple Tatamis in close proximity, eliminating cross-Tatami whistle confusion during concurrent Matches.

The Referee Alert system ensures precise timing and direct communication, prompting swift and decisive action by the Referee designed to complement and align with the principles of Sport Karate rules and objectives.
